#201 - FAT QUARTER JACKET

Type: Machine

Skill Level: All Levels
Create a unique jacket from 6 squares or 6 F fat quarters & ½ yd. of fabric. The squares will hang & fit diagonally on your body giving a flowing effect which is very figure flattering.

Supplies: Six fat quarters or squares plus an extra ½ yd. of one fabric (or a co-ordinating fabric) for cuffs and binding. Serger or sewing machine with zig-zag for finishing seams, mat & rotary cutter, large square up.

#202 - LOVER’S LINK

Scrappy but planned. What more could you ask? This project uses a variety of fabrics from small scraps to yardage with one strong contrast fabric to see the design in place (red in the sample project) The cutting and sewing will be fun and you’ll see results quickly. Makes 78x88” quilt.

Supplies: Background 3 1/8 yd., assorted red prints 2 1/8 yd., assorted med. prints 3 1/2 yds., red print (border & binding) 2 3/8 yd.,  basic supplies, 9 1/2" or 12 1/2" square up.

#203 - SWEET DREAMS

You won’t want to quit until it is finished. So easy to do. All the pieces fit together like a dream if cut accurately. Pastels make it such a peaceful quilt you are bound to have sweet dreams sleeping under it. 71” x 85”
                                                           
Supplies: 7 fat quarters—floral prints, 5 fat quarters-solid or near solid, 1 ¾ yds. cream background, 2 ½ yds. yellow for center blocks & borders, 1 1/3 yds. for first border & binding. Pattern $8.

#205 - SNOWMAN SNOW DAYS

Skill Level: All  Levels
This fun snowman quilt is for all quilting levels from confident beginner to advanced. We will construct snowmen and set them with swirling pinwheels to make a 69 x 81” quilt.

Supplies:2 ¾ yd. med. blue w/white; 1 yd. of red with a little white, 2 ½ yds. white or tone on tone. 1 yd. very light blue, 1 yd. lt. blue or navy. Pattern $2.

#206 -TREES UP! LIGHTS ON!

Skill Level: Intermediate
It is stack & slash and piecing with odd angles and triangles from the same designer as “Presents” which was taught several years ago. Fat quarters are stacked and then slashed on the pattern lines. Can be Christmas colors but would be equally dramatic with vibrant fall colors.

Supplies: 10 Fat Quarters of each of these colors—red, green and off-white or yellow or whatever colors you choose. Pattern $8.

#207 - STAINED GLASS GEOMETRY

Type: Hand

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Don’t let the word geometry scare you. It is named that because we start with basic geometric shapes, circles, squares & triangles. You will learn to cut freehand, about perspective in color & fabric placement and how to make bias strips for “leading”, plus basics of hand appliqué. 24”x46”.

SUPPLIES: 1 ½ yds. muslin, 1 ½ yds. light background, 1 yd. charcoal or dk. gray for “leading”; ½ yd of 8-10 bright colors: batiks, moda marbles or fabrics that have appearance of light filtering.
